Our psychosocial counseling for trans*, intersex and nonbinary persons offers you support and advice to topics like

  • questions about gender identity, sexual orientation and variations in sex characteristics
  • coming out
  • legal gender recognition
  • gender reassignment measures and self-determined surgical interventions
  • referral so sentitized doctors, therapists or facilities
  • psychological stress, like depression, trauma-related disorders, sleep disorders, etc.
  • stressful experiences with doctors, authorities or other bodies
  • problems in accommodation, at school or at work
  • family and relationship conflicts

If you have specific questions about law and asylum, we can refer you to sensitized and competent positions.

Our consultations can take place in person, by telephone or by email. We as advisors are subject to a duty of confidentiality. This means everything we talk about in the counseling is confidential and will not be passed on to other people. If needed the counseling can also take place anonymously, for example if you do not want to tell your name.

The consultations can be conducted in german and english. Other languages with language mediation are possible, if needed.

Our personal counsultations take place in our rooms at Gürtelstraße 35 in 10247 Berlin-Friedrichshain (4th floor, with elevator, unfortunately it is currently not accessible with a wheelchair – upon request, we can meet in barrier-free consultation rooms).
